INT offers integrated solutions on information security in up-to-date integrated infocommunication systems. Information security mechanisms function at all levels of the systems - from data transmission equipment to infocommunication applications providing users with services.
Up-to-date infocommunication system represents the universal multipurpose speech, maps and data transmission intended network with usage of packet switching technology. The concept of creation of such system provides support of an unbounded range of services with flexible management possibilities, implementation of a universal transport multiprotocol network with the distributed switching, integration with traditional communication networks.
The base of any infocommunication system is a multiprotocol/multiservice transport communication packet-transmission based network, ensuring the converse of diversified traffic with usage of various transfer protocols. The infocommunication system at higher levels of OSI model opens a world of possibilities of construction of the overlayed services over the universal transport environment – from mail services to a packet telephony (VoIP), maps and video conferences transmissions, etc. The infocommunication system offers availability of services regardless of the user location and interfaces. So any services created in any point of such system become accessible to any consumer.
With the advent of similar systems the question of information security of the IT Infrastructure of the institution (organization) using its services has arisen. There was a necessity to reveal and rate various threats of information security and to develop appropriate security models. The development and deployment of complex technical information security solutions at the infocommunication interaction, both within organization, and also with other organizations and external information resources became necessary.
The task of creation of integrated solutions for information security in such systems is shown in the picture below:
