COMPATIBILITY WITH E-MAIL SYSTEMS OF OTHER VENDORS:
For messages exchange BERESTA system uses its own messages format developed by INT. It allows providing extended control of access to information, messages delivery priority management and other mail system functions unavailable in other vendors’ e-mail systems.
BERESTA system also supports standard POP3, SMTP and IMAP protocols to interact with other e-mail systems.

BERESTA E-MAIL SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
BERESTA e-mail system is developed using "client-server" architecture. E-mail system includes the following software components:

Server - provides correspondence delivery between users in accordance with address information contained in the messages. Each company division can have its own server providing not only correspondence delivery but also users permissions control.

Client - application similar to distributed mail clients in functionality and interface organization principles but different from them in security functions provision and official electronic documents exchange. User interface is close to distributed mail software which significantly simplifies the company employees instruction and training to use the system.

Administrator - a tool used by mail system administrators to set mail servers operation parameters and manage users accounts. Server management can be carried out by company division administrator or it can be managed centrally form the unified company technical support center.
