IP Telephony and Video Telephony

INT specialists have developed a full set of hardware and software tools for creation of corporate IP telephony system. Use of a unified set of technical tools allows significantly simplify implementation and further maintenance of the system.

Compared to traditional telephone systems INT IP telephony and video telephony systems implementation allows:

  • significantly extend the range of services provided to subscribers;
  • increase efficiency of joint operation of subscribers remote from each other geographically;
  • reduce the expenses for increasing the number of subscribers to be served in future;
  • reduce the expenses for long-distance and international calls;
  • simplify interaction between remote company offices.

IP telephony and video telephony network deployment does not require laying additional telephone lines. Data transfer is fulfilled via local computer network. Communication between remote subsidiaries or offices as executed by means of VPN.

With the help of specialized gateways the existing telephone lines, PBX and POTS telephone can be connected to IP telephony system. It is possible to organize interaction with PSTN and organization of calls to city telephone numbers.

IP telephony system developed by INT is compatible with IP telephony systems of other vendors.

MAIN SERVICES PROVIDED BY IP TELEPHONY SYSTEM:

  • Voice telephone communication;
  • Video telephone communication;
  • Text messages and files exchange;
  • Subscribers status presence;
  • Voice and video conferencing;
  • Call redirect;
  • Call transfer;
  • Control of subscribers access to communication services;
  • Address book;
  • Providing callers id.

MAIN DIFFERENCES FROM TRADITIONAL TELEPHONE NETWORKS:

  • Automatic calls commutation in case of calling inside the company and between remote subsidiaries and besides in case of connection with PSTN subscribers;
  • Provision of the whole set of communication services with the help of unified equipment set and software;
  • Automatic control of subscribers access to communication services and setting individual subscribers rights;
  • Speech quality equal to cell communication quality;
  • Voice menu used for setting the parameters of services provision;
  • Absence of expenses for laying new telephone lines;
  • Provision of video telephony services.

POSSIBILITY OF INTEGRATION WITH COMMUNICATION FACILITIES USED:

For IP telephony system implementation existing local networks and telephone lines can be used. Connection to telephone line and POTS telephone system is fulfilled by means of special gateways also developed by INT.

IP telephones of other vendors using SIP signaling protocol can be connected to INT IP telephony system.

TECHNICAL FACILITIES OF IP TELEPHONY DEVELOPED BY INT:

INT specialists have developed a full set of equipment and software for corporate IP telephony networking. Usage of a unified set of technical facilities allows significantly simplify system implementation and future maintenance.

Main IP telephony system components:

  • Atom Shell IP telephony system server - specialized application providing calls commutation, signals transformation, communication services access control. Operation is based on industrial PC;
  • Atom Terminal program telephone - user application allowing the subscriber to get access to IP telephony services.
  • Atom Gate telephone network gateway - facility providing interfacing of IP telephony system and POTS telephone lines and telephones installed at subscribers working places through these lines.

Equipment has a unified management interface and administrative user interface which allow speeding-up staff training and simplify implementation, setting and maintenance of the system.

Depending on a working place technique a subscriber can get access to the following set of services:

Working place equipment Technical facilities to be used Set of services provided
Personal computer Atom Shell, Atom Terminal Telephone communication, video telephone communication*, voice conferencing, address book*, text messages exchange*, files exchange*, voice menu
Personal computer and POTS telephones Atom Shell, Atom Terminal, Atom Gate, telephones with tone or impulse dialing-up Telephone communication, voice conferencing, video telephone communication address book*, text messages exchange*, files exchange*, voice menu
POTS telephones Atom Shell, Atom Gate, telephones with tone or impulse dialing-up Telephone communication, voice conferencing, voice menu

* - for subscribers using Atom Terminal.
